Puerto Princesa Trip: Kuyba Almoneca
Kuyba Almoneca was known in Puerto Princesa as a Holy Meditation Garden and because of the Holy Face of Jesus that can be found inside the cave. It was located at Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Kuyba means cave and the Almoneca is the combination of names of the Children of the owner. The entrance fee here is just P150.00 per head. They actually increased their entrance fee (It was just P50.00 per head before haha)
We started our tour after paying and got our tour guide. Surprisingly, our tour guide is just a kid around 10-12 years old!
Our first stop was on the Holy Family Cave where you can see the Holy Face of Jesus. Before entering the cave, we have to wear a helmet for our protection on sharp stones.
This cave was a actually an old dump site. People are throwing their trash here until the owner decided to clean the place and renovate it.
After here, we went to the Bat's Cave. Well, were not able to enter this cave because it was too small. The last cave is the cave where the Man made pool is situated. They have two man made pools here, one is 5FT deep and the other one is 8FT deep. (Diving is not advisable)
Aside from the Holy Face, one of the major attractions here is their Fish spa. It is a natural way of removing dead skin in your feet.
Although this is just a short trip, I would still recommend this as another caving trip here in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
