Puerto Princesa Trip: Kuyba Almoneca

Kuyba Almoneca was known in Puerto Princesa as a Holy Meditation Garden and because of the Holy Face of Jesus that can be found inside the cave. It was located at Barangay San Jose, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Signage at the Entrance Kuyba means cave and the Almoneca is the combination of names of the Children of the owner. The entrance fee here is just P150.00 per head. They actually increased their entrance fee (It was just P50.00 per head before haha) We started our tour after paying and got our tour guide. Surprisingly, our tour guide is just a kid around 10-12 years old! Our first stop was on the Holy Family Cave where you can see the Holy Face of Jesus. Before entering the cave, we have to wear a helmet for our protection on sharp stones. This cave was a actually an old dump site. Coron Series: Coron Tours and Itinerary

DAY 1: CORON TOWN TOUR Last April 2, 2017, we went to Coron for a familiarization tour. On our first day, we did a Coron Town Tour to see what Coron Town can offer. It was actually my first time visiting Coron so I was really excited. Mt. Tapyas Our first stop was on Souvenir Shop to buy Pasalubong. Unfortunately, the souvenir shop was closed every Sunday so we went to our next destination, the Lualhati Park. Lualhati Park Lualhati is a tagalog word means  peace.  Lualhati Park is a part of docking point of ships and boats in Coron. From here, you can see the view of Mt. Tapyas and offers a nice view of bay and nearby Islands in Coron. There was also a dry market near here and vendors selling things that you need for island hopping tours and souvenirs for pasalubong. Coron Series: How to get to Coron

UNDERSTANDING CORON Coron is a part of Calamianes Group of Island located at the Northern Part of Palawan. It was also the ancestral land of the ethnic group called " tagbanwa or tagbanua"  and until today most of the beautiful lakes and islands in Coron was owned by  Tagbanwa  Community. Coron is famous because of its beautiful scenery especially for underwater explorers. It was also a fantastic base for adventure like shipwreck diving, coral snorkeling, trekking and a lot more! Kayangan Lake HOW TO GET TO CORON From MANILA to CORON Coron is easily accessible by Air if you are coming from Manila. Airlines such as Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, Cebgo and Skyjet are offering direct flight from Manila to Busuanga. You can also ride a ferry like 2go Travel Ferry but it takes 12 Hours before you can reach the Municipality of Coron.
